About

Vito De Feo received the M.Eng. degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering and Telecommunication from Politecnico di Torino and Stanford University in 2000 and 2004.

From 2005 to 2008 he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Electronic at Politecnico di Torino and Neuropsychology student at Università di Torino. From 2008 to 2010 he was Senior Researcher at CTVR Telecommunication Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He worked on all-optical packet switching networks protocols. From 2010 to 2013 he taught Signal Theory and Telecommunication at Turin University. From 2013 to 2015 he was Senior Researcher and Statistcs teacher at ZMNH (Zentrum für Molekulare Neurobiologie) of the Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf.

His research interests include nerual signal processing, effective connectivity and causal modeling, BCI (Brain Computer Interface) and BMI (brain-machine interfaces) design and consciousness studies.
